THEY MADE YOU SOMEONE ELSE?
who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 1 Peter 2:23
There are certain people who know that it's good to be good, and that Christ actually recreated them to be good and kind when they got born again; but then, they'll only be good to those who deserve their goodness.
And to the others who don't deserve their goodness, they could be evil. Think about it. If you live this way, you're unstable as water. If you let someone make you wicked because of the person's wickedness. You became dark because of their darkness?
Became brutal because of their brutality? Became unkind because of their unkindness? You choose to cheat them because they cheated you? Thereby becoming a cheat yourself? You have given them so much power to turn you into something you're not?
No, don't live this way. Don't give other people the ability to shape you negatively, because of their negativity. Be who Christ has called you to be regardless. Be full of love and kindness. Not for their sakes, but for Christ's. This is the true life. You're blessed. TCF
