AS EFFECTIVE AS YOU KNOW
that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. Philemon 1:6
One can only practice or work out what he knows or what he's aware of. Though a person may be capable of so much, he can only do as much as he knows he can. So a lot of times, the extent of knowledge a person has becomes his limitation to perform better.
The expression of your faith in Christ Jesus (ie what your faith can do through Christ Jesus) will only increase as your knowledge of what you own in Christ Jesus increases. It's true many people know they own everything in Christ and through Christ,
But what exactly is everything? Until it is defined, it remains vague and thus ineffective. Because many Christians who claim to own it all, live their lives practically like they've got nothing at all. What does being in Christ and of Christ really mean to you?
Does it mean anything more substantial beyond the general scope of being saved and born again? You've got to live for Christ here on earth, but you can only be as effective as the truth you know and the truth you take personal. Be blessed. TCF
