THERE IS NOTHING GOD EVER SAYS TO A MAN THAT WILL WORK UNTIL THAT MAN COMPLIES TO DO HIS PART OF THE DEAL.

Heavenly Father, thank you for another day. Thank you for the entire week, you have been so good, blessed be your name in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for the light that has been coming our way since the week began at the Covenant Hour of Prayer and thank you for what is coming our way today. Receive our thanks in Jesus name. For each one of us today, let no one return without a word encounter with you in Jesus Precious name.
Psalm 107:20
We have been looking at this line of exhortation: PROMPT RESPONSE COUNTS THE MOST IN OUR WALK WITH GOD. Hebrews 3:7-8, if you hear today, respond today. Lack of response is falling into the temptation of the devil that turns God’s back on people. When God turns His back on anyone, including believers; his worth is eroded. “for without Me you can do nothing”. When God turns His back on anyone his anointing is irrelevant, it won’t answer. Great testimonials in the kingdom are made by men, women, boys and girls who just jump at what God says after the order of Abraham. “Get thee out of your father’s house to a land that I will show you… so Abraham departed”. "Now circumcise all the male born in your household", as soon as God was done speaking with Abraham, He began. Prompt response, we are not Abraham’s seed dragging to obey God. Church Gist. We used to sing in those days 'Abraham’s blessings are mine'. Until Abraham’s works are yours, Abraham’s blessings cannot be yours. You have to operate like Abraham to be blessed like Abraham. “Take your son whom you love, Isaac and sacrifice him in a place I will show you” he saw that at night and he rose early in the morning and there God swore a blessing on him. It is prompt response that entitles believers to a sworn blessing and when God swears a blessing on a man, his struggle ends.
Prompt response counts the most in our walk with God. God sent a word to Hezekiah through Isaiah, the voice of God on the earth at that time.
Isaiah 38:1-5
Hezekiah turned to the wall IMMEDIATELY and said “Remember oh Lord…” and God remembered. Prompt response. Be instant in prayers, don’t let trouble land on your life, be instant to respond in prayers. Romans 12:12. This social media Christianity won’t go far, you have to understand what the word says and line up with it. The King of Assyria gave a letter to Hezekiah and as soon as he got the letter, he took it to the temple and spread it before the Lord (2 Kings 19:14-20) on the spot and then a word came through Isaiah ‘forget about that man, I will deal with him’. Church Gist. We also heard the testimony of Bartimaeus, he heard a great noise and he said what is happening here and they said Jesus is passing by. Jesus is passing by? Do you mean the one that opened the eyes of the blind and raised the dead is passing by? I guess he folded his trousers and said ‘today na today, you won’t pass me by. He started screaming and Jesus stood still. He woke up a blind man but he went back to his house seeing clearly. Prompt response is key to maximizing the blessings of our work with God.
On the 4th of May, the mission to Africa was delivered. It was a Wednesday, on Friday we dedicated that mission to Jesus. No premonition, not that we had an idea before. Prompt response. Faith Tabernacle shall be dedicated September 1999, the following day we arrived on site. Prompt response. Church Gist. Every time God speaks the forces of heaven dive into motion to deliver what He said if you dive into it. It is not just stepping in after the water is stirred, it is stepping in first (John 5:4).
- May we all receive the grace for prompt response in our walk with God.
It’s not how long you have been there, it is how covenantly aligned you are with the word which determines your outcome. Let’s come awake, we are in a highly prophetic season, all you need is whatever He tells you to do, do it. You won’t do it, nothing will happen. God is up to anything He says if you don’t miss His timing. You miss His timing, it is gone. He makes all things beautiful only in His time. Church Gist. Many have scaled very great heights since 2015 when this revival hit. Many others have lost very great positions in the same period with the same Father in heaven. Disobedience never flies with God no matter who is involved. Nonchalance never matters, it is time to wake up.
I told our students yesterday, no playgirl, no playboy has a future because life is not a playground. Life is a marketplace, no playboy makes a mark in business. Life is a battleground, no playboy returns from war as a playboy. Life is a farmland, you don’t wake up to see your product, you suffer for it. No play Christian has a future. No software Christian has a future. Psalm 63:8. The harder we follow Him, the higher we fly. Anyone who is not committed to God’s four-level Church agenda this year has lost out. You are either on the go after souls or you are engaging your prayer altar in praying souls into the Kingdom. If you are not involved in any of them forget it. How will your story change? We serve a covenant-keeping God, not a Father Christmas God. Church Gist. If you are too big to repent, then you are too big to be saved. Somebody had no job from 2010 to 2015 and found a place for God in his life and God turned his story around. That frustration is enough to say “bye-bye” to God forever but he hooked on it. Stay awake, you are in your season. You don’t just serve God to experience breakthrough, to operate in the realm of breakthrough, you have to keep serving Him. It’s not hit and run, just collect one miracle and flee, the miracle also will flee. There is nothing God has ever added to me that has fled and over these years by His grace, I have never seen a setback. Don’t you think the devil hates me more than he does you? I am privileged to be one of his troublers today. He hates me with passion, I hate him with perfect hatred. Why can he not touch me? I am in safe hands, I have the backing of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, we are working together.
Isaiah 55:6.
Your prompt response is for your benefit. There is nothing God ever says to a man that will work until that man complies with his part of the deal.
Prayers: Lift your two hands and receive the grace for prompt obedience.
- I declare your family blessed, the work of your hands blessed, I declare your walk with God blessed.
- I pray that this year will be a year of years for you. It shall be the dawning of a new year for you.
- No evil report comes your way this year, you will be only hearing God’s news from far and near.
- Nothing fails in your hand anymore.
