OUR ASSURANCE
who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:14
When you submit to Jesus Christ as your Lord, the Holy Spirit comes into your life as a seal of the deal. The Holy Spirit has been promised even before Jesus died (John 7:38) but could only be received after His redemptive work was complete.
Today, the Holy Spirit in your life is Christ's mark on you. He stands as a testament that you belong to Jesus.
Because He is in you always, when God looks at you, He recognises you as His own, as belonging to Him and He treats you as such. It is also very important that you recognise the presence of God's Spirit in your life, and treat yourself as belonging to Christ too.
Though we have not seen the fullness of our salvation, yet we can be assured that the promise remains authentic because of God's Spirit who lives in us. Thank God for His Holy Spirit. You're blessed. TCF
