ILL FEELINGS ARE ILL
And do not give the devil an opportunity [to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness] Ephesians 4:27 amp.
If you nurse ill feelings against others in your heart, those feelings give the devil an opportunity to inspire wicked thoughts and actions within you against such people.
No matter how little those ill feelings are, they could corrupt you. It takes only a little Leven to Leven the entire lump (Gal. 5:9). This is irrespective of whether the person actually did something to deserve those feelings against the person.
Remember, you store the feelings in your mind, and your whole body is only an extension of your mind. Don't give the devil an opportunity to turn you into something Christ did not create you to be.
Let go of the hate, the grudge, the anger, the bitterness, or resent. It is Christian to forgive. (Eph. 4:32). Let Christ and His love work in your heart. Give no room to the devil. You're blessed. TCF
