SHOW OF LOVE AS APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN DONATES 20 MILLION NAIRA TO IDP's IN BENUE STATE
The President and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International also known as the Restoration Apostle Johnson Suleman visited Benue - state Nigeria for a two days crusade in line with the "MIGHTY TURNAROUND " movement for the year 2022.
Apostle Johnson Suleman accompanied by his wife Dr. Lizzy Johnson Suleman who hails from Benue state, and senior pastors of omega fire ministry paid a visit to the government House in Benue State.
They were warmly received by officials of the Benue state government House and Benue state Governor Samuel Ortom who honoured the Apostle and his wife with the state's traditional attire.
The man of God appreciated Governor Samuel Ortom for his efforts towards building a working system in the state and supporting the work of the Kingdom.
In his nature, while addressing challenges faced by the State and possible ways to support the government and people The Restoration Apostle Johnson Suleman donated the sum of 20 million naira to IDPs in Benue State.
Benue State is currently facing the worst humanitarian crisis in recent time following the sharp rise in the number of Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, the state government is currently grappling with.
Though official figures had it that over 1.5 million IDPs are taking refuge in several official and unofficial camps as well as host communities spread across the state, but latest figures put the number of IDPs in the state at close to 1.8 million; a development that is way beyond the carrying capacity of the state government.
Apostle Johnson Suleman is a renowned generous giver who passionately reaches out to the needy with several philanthropic gestures aimed at alleviating suffering and restoring hope.
Through the Touch of Love Foundation, Apostle Johnson Suleman offers scholarships, builds homes for the elderly, provides artisans with tools, equipment's and machines for their work, gifts people with vehicles, offers financial support to talented and skilled individuals, and lots more.
