THE WORD, YOUR OS
“So this is why we abandon everything morally impure and all forms of wicked conduct. Instead, with a sensitive spirit we absorb God’s Word, which has been implanted within our nature, for the Word of Life has power to continually deliver us.” James 1:21 TPT
When a computer is built, it is equipped with a software program that determines how it would operate and function. Only actions, instructions, and operations that are recognised by the inbuilt software will be successfully carried out by the computer, otherwise it would function in error.
This is because the inbuilt software defines the operations and functions of the computer. So also it is with us who are born again. When we were born again, we were renewed into a new kind of man. We are the type of men who have the Word of God implanted into our beings. In fact we are born from the Word of God.
In essence, the word of God is your operating system, which defines and determines how your life functions. This is why the scripture advices us to be filled with the word of God. Because as we are filled with the word, we conform to the functionality of our inner man. There's a lot deposited in your spirit already.
A lot of protocols instituted by the Word. But just as the computer needs instructions that conform to it's OS, you need instructions, words, commands, information that conform to the implanted Word within you. Stay on the word. Stick to the word. Be filled with the word. Because the Word of God is the foundation of your functionality. You're blessed. TCF.
