GRACE AND TRUTH
For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:17
The word makes us understand that Jesus who was the only begotten of the Father was full of grace and truth. (John 1:14). But currently we who believe in Him, have received of His fullness.He was full of grace and truth, and we have received of His fullness, grace upon grace and truth.
Truth is the knowledge of the reality of how things should be in Christ. Truth is the knowledge of the experience of the life called Christ.And grace is the empowerment to live and experience that life and reality. Grace is the divine equipping or working of the Spirit of God in us,
to help us experience the truth which comes through Jesus Christ. So in Christ, we receive the knowledge of the reality of life,the knowledge of the truth, and we also receive the empowerment to experience that reality of life which Jesus brings.
Jesus was full of grace and truth, and we who now believe in His name have received of His fullness. It becomes our responsibility, to work out the truth in our own lives by the grace of God in us. Through the Word and by the Spirit, we have all it takes. So let us ensure that God's grace in us will not be in vain. You're blessed. TCF
