WE SHARE HIS GLORY
And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: John 17:22
Did you carefully read the words of Jesus in our theme verse? "And the glory you gave me, I have given them". What was He talking about?Jesus is the Son of God, and then became the first born from the dead. (Colossians 1:18)
In the heavenly realm He was highly glorified (before His decent to earth) and became even more glorified, after His resurrection from the dead. The glory, the wonder, the sparkle and awe that emanate from Him as God, the same supernatural bliss that radiates from the beauty of His life, He shared with us.
So He made us to be just as wonderful and as glorious as He is, so that as we live His life, even here on earth, and shine forth His light doing His works, His glory will radiate with splendor through you and I who are His offspring.
There's this nice song that says, "you will never share your glory with anybody, you are the Lord, that is you name.." that's not for us who are in Christ. We are not "anybody". We are one with Him, hallelujah.We radiate and reveal His glory, so that through us, the world will see His glory and be drawn to Him. Hallelujah! You're blessed. TCF
