THE INHERITANCE IS NOW!
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:29
We are the inheritors of eternal life. We who are in Christ are not going to get eternal life later, because we have it now already!This very moment, Hallelujah! Apostle John in 1John 5:13 wants us to know that we have this beautiful life in Christ.
And how did we get it? We inherited it alongside Jesus Christ. The death of the son of God already took place. In His death, He made eternal life available to all. Then He rose first in the new birth, to be the first partaker of the life He made available.
He is described as the first born from the dead. (Revelation 1:5). Now we all who believe in Him, are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, Hallelujah!! (Romans 8:17). God is our portion, and we got all that Christ got too! So the risen Christ is the first partaker of this new life. He made it available and tasted it first.
Now we all who believe, also share this same life with Him. The very same life He has. You must know these things. We are joined as one with Him.So we are not going to inherit eternal life, we have already inherited eternal life. We have it now! So tell me, will you go on living humanly? Be blessed!
