JUST LIKE THE BURNING BUSH
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
In the wake of the ministry of Moses, he stepped out one day in Horeb and He saw a bush. It was on fire, burning, but it wasn’t burnt out. The flames and sight of this caught Moses and attracted him to the bush. This same description is just how our lives should be.
Having received the Holy Spirit, we should burn with a passion and fire for God. To burn for God highly passionate about Him.To be so full of love for Him. This is how we ought to live. Ablaze for the king. We don’t get burnt out because we are in His rest.
Though in expression we are working yet, it is God working in us, both to will and to do what pleases Him. (Philippians 2:13). You see, it’s His ability and working in you. What's the result through you? You attract men to come and behold the fire, the power and the glory in display through you.
They will see Christ in you! And they will hear the voice of Christ call out to them from your midst. This is what Jesus wants. That we shine brightly before men, that they should glorify God and be drawn to Him. Choose to burn. Choose to shine. You're blessed.
