DON'T GIVE THE DEVIL A CHANCE
“Don’t give the slanderous accuser, the Devil, an opportunity to manipulate you!”
Ephesians 4:27 TPT
Someone made an interesting statement; "Don't tempt temptation to tempt you." As funny as that may sound, some people live their lives exactly that way. They keep opening up opportunities for the devil to run rampage in their lives, and when he seizes the opportunities, they start wondering why they are so defeated.
How do they do this? Through the things they expose their minds and hearts to, and through their conduct. By the things you listen to, by the things you watch, by the kind of friends you keep, by the way you carry yourself, and the activities you engage in.
They might not be sinful at the moment, but they might be a snare, making you more vulnerable to temptation and to the devil. You must be wise in your conduct and wise to guard your heart.Don't give evil a chance with you. Imagine being a lover of horror movies, and then wondering why you are so fearful of darkness and demons.
Imagine listening to immoral songs or movies, and wondering why you struggle with lust. How can you walk around fire and expect not to sweat.You must be wise and decide to be disciplined. Stay away from stuff that expose you to being exploited by darkness. Be blessed. TCF
