WHAT LED TO THE DEATH OF GODS SERVANT YON-GI CHO




 Reverend Cho Yong-gi, who founded the biggest South Korean church and a string of popular megachurches, died on Tuesday at the age of 85 in Seoul.


The pastor, better known as David Yonggi Cho or Paul Yonggi Cho .died at a Seoul hospital where had been admitted in July 2020 after he collapsed due to cerebral hemorrhage, the church said in a statement..

This is what we can say physically was the cause if his exit, but we know that God does his things at his best will.

Cho is survived by three sons. The church will start receiving mourners from Wednesday ahead of the funeral scheduled for Saturday, it said in the statement.


Lauding Cho’s contribution, the church said: “He conveyed the gospel of hope to the Korean people who fell into despair after the Korean War.


The statement also added that his family had a lot of attacks which resulted to financial lapses but he remained strong in his stand.

He is the founder of the popular Yoido Full Gospel Church.
