Lift your hands all over this room, give Him praise. Don't minimise it, give Him glory. He has done so much for us, we can't tell it all. He is a mighty good God. Lord we are grateful, we are a grateful people. In Jesus name we worship.
You know, I heard this story from Pastor Adeboye about the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and what happened to him when he was still alive. He was at home with his wife and usually, his wife will come to him and say, she was having issues with meeting up with their bills, about cooking and all that, their feeding and all that and he prayed and the Holy Spirit told him (Baba Akindayomi) to tell her; everytime you want to cook, cook with what you have, no matter how little but when you are dishing the food, don't look into the pot. Church Gist. She followed the instructions and she would be dishing, maybe the pot is here, the other dish is here and as she is dishing, she is looking into the dish, she is not looking into the pot. The food in the pot never finishes.
The food in the pot, if one million people came, she would probably prepare for two people. You have no idea the kind of God you are serving. Don't look into the pot, as long as you don't look into the pot, continue to dish. If 20 people come to the house, Baba himself told baba Adeboye and said, it happened for many days, many months, that he would give his wife money for two people to feed and thousands and probably hundreds of people, but a lot of people will come and that pot never ran dry.
There is power in the name of Jesus and there is power in giving that God praise. Stop looking at what is in front of you. Stop thinking God is all about this room, God is bigger than this room. He can do exceedingly, abundantly, above all. There are some people right now, God has already sorted your case but you are not looking at God, you are looking at the issues. You are not looking at God, you are looking at the situation, you are looking at the problem, 'hey... my problem, hey... what happened to me last year, hey... what is going to happen to me in August, hey...' God said if you keep looking there, you can't see the supernatural but I prophesy to you tonight, as you look unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of your faith, miracles will roll-in in the name of Jesus.
So for months, you will not look into the pot, she will only look at what... Don't look into the pot. I didn't hear it from somewhere, I heard it from Baba himself and it was the man that the miracle happened to that told him.
God is still in the business of doing wonders.
- Say Lord I receive the unusual, the miraculous, I look beyond what I can see right now and I make up my mind to praise You anyhow. I make up my mind to look away from everything that distracts and I look unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of your faith.
Lift your hands and bless Him tonight. He is faithful.
