THE HELPER
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26
Not just once or twice, but on several occasions, Jesus told His disciples about the Helper whom the Father would send in His name, only when He (Jesus) had departed physically from them. He also clearly makes us understand that this Helper is the Holy Spirit.
Jesus shows us that the Helper is coming to do life with us, and bring continual help to us in various ways. Dear friends, Jesus Christ made these provisions because He knows that even with all He had done, without the Helper, we would never make it successfully through this world on our own.
Our whole chance of making it lies solely in the help that the Helper brings to us. The Holy Spirit is the helper. His ministry to us is the help. Mankind are the ones that need help. We who have received Him are the helped. Christ Jesus is our helper provider. We are now sent as Jesus was sent to bring others to this Helper whom we have received.
Now consider this one thing, That Jesus has sent us the Helper. The message of Jesus to us is crystal clear. We need help! And this help is found in no other, but in the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father sent to us in the name of the Son Jesus Christ. You are blessed. TCF
