NO OTHER CHANNEL,ONLY THROUGH YOU!
Do you know that each seconds, just as you take each footsteps, as you’ve just breath now, two souls has become covered with death curtains without ever having heard of the name of Christ?
I know you’ve taken additional 6 breaths now! We have yet even many who have heard of the name of Christ, but not in power, and so remain unconverted? They are constantly disturbed by an evil conscience, bewildered by many religious superstitions, suffering in thick darkness, sinking into a hopeless despair little by little, alone. Though they might look obstinate in the physical but like the Macedonian man, they are crying silently and deep within them “COME OVER… AND HELP US”. And, I and you have what they need.
"And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;" (Matthew 9:35-37).
Truly the labourers can be few but the harvest of souls is plentiful.
Why don't you be among the few labourers this day?
You can preach to them, you can teach me and you can heal them even like Jesus did.
Do you know that Jesus still have compassion for sinners as he had in the bible days? Just before Jesus went unto the cross, he prayed “I in them…that they may be perfect in one”(John 17:2). Then he went to be nailed to the cross, resurrected and sat down on the right hand of his Majesty on high, living in the hearts of me and you.
We became his body, his mode of expression to the world. Just as the body shares the same blood with the Head, we had access to His Spirit too, His power, His love, His holiness. But just as the head cannot move without the body, if we don’t move out to witness Him, He cannot move out. Jesus wishes to show our friends and neighbours His compassion and saving power, but do you know that without you and I his compassion will remain unheard and unsatisfied? If we don’t consecrate ourselves, though he wishes to heal the sick, he won’t be able to. “Christ lives in me”. Christ lives in you too but the longing in our heart is that great number of men arise to speak the gospel with power just like the men of old.
He can only speak through you. He has no other channel to express himself to the world except through you.
“For none of us liveth unto himself”. Do you know that you were not in that school, church, organisation and even family for yourself alone? God didn’t brought you to that place by chance. You were brought here to make Jesus see the travail of his soul. Jesus will remain unsatisfied if the reason why he died and suffered has not been realized. When Jesus endured the slashes and humiliations on the cross, it was because he was assuring himself that days would come when many would be saved and delivered from the devil’s oppression. He never wanted to see men in deceit and bewilderment anymore.
Now check your surroundings, do you think Jesus has seen the result of His sufferings? Are there still not many who are still bewildered and laden with addictions? That’s why you’re there. He says “As my Father has sent me, so send I you...."
He is the one sending you and I as branches that would resiliently spring forth from he the unbreakable vine.
Remember, you have what they need to be converted. Without you, they’ll perish. Determine today to be a channel through which Jesus can express himself to the world. From today, preach Him to your friends, preach him from the housetops, use every tool imaginable to share his love. “You’re the light of the world”, not the light of the church. Preach him outside church walls. That’s where the unconverted are, and that’s where they can be helped. Do you love Christ? Then determine from today to take him out to world to save men. Tell the unconverted “I CARE” by preaching the good news to them.
So EVERYWHERE we go, we ought to talk about Christ to all who will listen…This is [our] work, and [We] can do it ONLY because Christ mighty energy is at work within us (Colossians 1:28-29).
You have only ONE LIFE to preach, ONE LIFE to live for God, and they have just ONE LIFE to hear you.
