UNTIL THE MORNING STAR RISES
And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 2 Peter 1:19
To get the most out of the word of God, and to actually receive the ministry of the word of God to us, we must learn to sustain a patient and persistent attitude to the word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word; we are cleansed by the washing of water which is the word; the word of God renews our mind.
You see there are various ministries we receive from the Word. As we behold like in a glass, the glory of God, we are transformed to the same image, from glory to glory. But these will not just happen in a flash or simply because you glanced through the scripture.
Do well to heed (that is to patiently listen to and pay attention to the word) as a light that shines in a dark place, until the the day dawns and the MorningStar (Christ) rises In your hearts. You see there is a process to this thing. Quit the hit and run approach to God's word. Quit the hasty and hurried approach.
Keep paying attention to the prophetic word of God, i.e. the word of truth until Christ takes abode in your heart. Until our hearts are illuminated, we must keep staying with the word. Behold until light shines and your mind is transformed. Light comes as you behold, but don’t stop holding until the light is laid so bare for all men to see and glorify the father. And when it happens, still keep beholding even more! You are blessed. TCF
