THERE’S A PERFECTION
Hebrews 10:9
then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.
Some Christians are comfortable with just being out of darkness. They’re ok with just not being sick, with just not being poor, with just not being in sins, with just not being sad. So even if they are not really doing so well, even if they are just average, so long as they’ve got out of the low deep, they are fine.
They get comfortable with the mundane . But this is not God‘s plan for us. View our theme verse again, He takes away the first, To establish the second. He takes away the bad not just to leave you better than you were, but to give you the best there is. Think about the children of Israel in Egypt.
God didn’t bring them out of Egypt to leave them in the wilderness, no! He brought them out of Egypt to bring them into the land of promise! And that is what it is for us. He brought us out of darkness to bring us into Light. He brought us out of death, to bring us into life. Out of poverty into wealth, out of sickness into health.
Out of sadness into Joy, Out of condemnation into justification. Out of sin into righteousness. He doesn’t just want you to be better than you were, He wants you to be the best He has made you to be. So don’t get comfortable with the mundane. Don’t be comfortable with just the average. There is a perfection and completion with the blessings of God. It is yours, go for it! You’re blessed. TCF.
