NO TRUTH IN THE DEVIL 2
John 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
Jesus was very clear with His description of the devil (and of course his demons). He says there is no truth in him. No truth; no message of Satan should be treated as truth. None at all. You might say "but what if at times, he tells some truth"? Well, truth as you need it, is only found in Christ and never outside Christ.
Once you start listening to the devil a bit, and taking even a little of his words to heart, you're gradually setting yourself up to be manipulated by him. Because he is such a skillful liar, that flesh cannot discern his lies. Only the Spirit can. Little wonder many are deceived because they still live by the flesh.
Refuse to be afraid of the lies of the devil. No matter how true his words sound or seem to be, don't ever give him a listening ear. Imagine a situation where a demon is being cast out of a person, then the demon says to the one casting him, "I will not go because you committed so and so sin".
The carnal mind will immediately start looking at that person as a sinner, and they wouldn't realise that they just believed a liar. A devil. There's no truth in him! Refuse to be manipulated by Satan's lies. Be conscious of this fact, that the devil is a liar, and there's no truth in him. Treat him as such. You're blessed. -TCF
