DISOBEDIENCE IS LIKE WICKEDNESS
Isaiah 48:22
“There is no peace,” says the LORD, “for the wicked.”
We popularly know that the sin of disobedience is likened to witchcraft. (1samuel 15:23). But here's something else. Disobedience is also like wickedness. Remember, there's Peace in obedience (Isaiah 48:18),
and now we see that there's no peace for the wicked. That means the wicked are simply those that disobey the Word. Why? God is Love personified, and His Word is Love (1 John 4:16).
Disobedience to the Word means walking in hate. And who else are wicked except people full of hate? You see, this is how God views those who live in disobedience to the Word. They are exhibiting wickedness, because walking in hate is to be wicked.
Refuse to be wicked. Refuse to be disobedient to the Word. Because if you truly love God, and your neighbours, then you'll only walk in love. Disobedience does not only affect you. It also affects those around you. Don't be a negative influence. Protect your peace. Walk in love. You're blessed. -TCF
