DON'T PLAY THE BLAME GAME

Genesis 3:12

Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”

Today, many Christians still have the same attitude that Adam and his wife Eve exhibited after they had sinned against God. Many people are reluctant to take responsibility for their wrongs and errors. Many will not even acknowledge the wrongs and the errors at all, talk more of accepting responsibility.

This is not right. God doesn't want you blaming people or blaming Satan for the way things are going in your life. He put you in charge of the course of your life, so that you can exercise authority over yourself first. The only person responsible for you and your actions, is you, yourself.

Quit giving excuses. Quit blaming people or circumstances for how things are going. Learn responsibility. As a matter of fact, the only way to receive forgiveness if you do wrong or sin, is by acknowledging the wrong and accepting responsibility for it.

1 John 1:9 says if we confess (that is admit, acknowledge, accept, take responsibility for) our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We must learn to accept that we are responsible for how we live and the things we do. Stop blaming others. Stop giving excuses. It won't help you. Accept responsibility and improve yourself. You're blessed. -TCF
