CHURCH GIST: WHEN I PROPOSED TO MY WIFE, I ONLY HAD ONE SHOE- APOSTLE AROME OSAYI

When I proposed to my wife, I was a classroom teacher, earning #10, 000, my shoe was white, that was my only shoe, I had one shoe. If I put on a black trouser, the shoe would be what? White! If I put on a brown trouser, the shoe would still be white.

After some time, there was a crack on it. I know a crack on a black shoe, is hidden but a crack on a white shoe is obvious. What she saw before she responded to me, was not my shoe.

There was only one thing I knew, the God that I preached, she saw me blazing the fire of that God, and she believed that if she follows this one, she will not miss her eternal will.

I told her, I don't promise you anything, I don't promise that you will ride a car, I don't promise you money, but I promise you me for a lifetime, me! Eventually a car came, then in Lagos, they stole it, but she still had what? Me!

The thing I promised her was always there and as long as she would stick with me, everything that the one that cannot lie has spoken, she was going to be a partaker, because by covenant, we are one.

And so when I bought a Benz, I told her, RIDE AND SPEED IN TOWN! BECAUSE YOU BELIEVED ME WHEN I HAD WHITE SHOE, RIDE! AND ENLARGE YOURSELF.

But ladies of these days, you need to have,  they need something more than potential, in fact, the boat must be more than the potential.

Life was designed to be lived by faith, I've seen the rich cry blood, bitterly than the poor. Wise men peep into heaven and build patterns after the wisdom of God.
