Last Sunday we began to look at the lessons we can learn from the sojourn of Elijah at Cherith. We learnt that God is unlimited. (1 kings 17:1-6)
The lesson for today is for one person in particular. 'Our God is Remarkably Faithful, 100% Trustworthy'.
Is it not amazing to be told to go to a particular brook, settle down there and God commanded birds to bring food and He never failed. Everyone knows that birds loves bread, ravens like flesh, Psalm 22:13. Yet God used these same ravens to bring bread and flesh to His servant twice a day.
- Our God is faithful.
Lamentations 3:22-23
- Our God never lies
Numbers 23:19, Psalm 33:8-9 ( He speaks and it is done).
God is faithful.
Once God has spoken, it is done. God is faithful.

In Joshua 5:1-21, God told Joshua to tell his people to walk round the City and shout on the seventh day, what kind of tactics is that ? Our God is faithful.
In Exodus 14:1-28, He said to the Children of Israel, move forward, the enemies you see today, you shall see them no more and He parted the Sea. God works in mysterious ways. Our brains are too small to understand all His ways. The Children of Israel never saw the Egyptians again because they drowned.
In Genesis 28:10-15, He told Jacob the land you are lying on is yours. In Genesis 32:9-12, Jacob said when I was here, I had only a walking stick now I have two bands. Today that land belongs to Jacob whose name was changed to Israel. God is faithful.
- He is a Covenant keeping God.

Mark 10:46-52. (David is dead, but his Son is high and lifted up sitting on the throne)
God is faithful.
He told my father in the Lord that He will build a church through him. God is faithful. In 1979, the RCCG was just 39 parishes we went for a service in America and the preacher came down from the pulpit and said to my Father, the Lord said, 'that promise I made to you is about to receive fulfilment'. Today that Covenant keeping God has brought RCCG into more than 191 Nations. I have been receiving congratulatory messages from nations I have never been before because God is faithful.
He promises you that you are going higher.
Deuteronomy 28:13
He promised you in Isaiah 3:10 that your future is a glorious one.
He is faithful.
Habakkuk 2:3, if the vision tarries, wait for it, God is faithful.
Psalm 37:5, commit your way unto the Lord, trust in Him and He will bring it to pass.
Listen to me, God has sent this message to you today, my God is Remarkably Faithful. He saw to it that twice a day, these Ravens brought the bread and meat. God is faithful.
As for those of you who are not yet born again, Colossians 1:27 made it clear that if you haven't got Christ in you, you can't hope for glory. God is not committed to do anything for you if Christ is not dwelling in you but if Christ is dwelling in you, your future is glorious.
If you want to surrender to Jesus Christ, it is up to you, you can bow your head now and ask Him to save your soul.
- Cry to God and say anything that will separate me from You, don't let it come to me because I know You are faithful and You are going to come through for me, don't let anything separate me from You.
He is faithful and He will answer all your prayers in Jesus name.
