ARTICLE UPDATE: LAWLESS FREEDOM.

There is nothing so great like being free. Why? Because it enables one from being restricted, it set free from captivity and also from bondages.

However, freedom to jubilate is not freedom to misbehave! I repeat in quote "Freedom to Jubilate is not freedom to misbehave".

What then can we say of men that have been liberated but are still living in bondages?

What can we then say about a man who is found naked, due to compassion something was given to him to enable him cover up his nakedness but soon afterwards he was found dropping the trousers that ought to cover his nakedness down beneath his buttocks?

Freedom as good as it is makes one have liberty to decide and choose for himself and by himself.

However, is this liberty lawless? Should it be taken for granted?

It is of great pain! how the son of men has gone out to misinterprete the place of grace for abused of grace.

Men that ought to be the one to teach people how to work out their salvation with fear and trembling now become the men encouraging others to continue in this lawless liberty!

"Once saved, saved forever" now become the common anthem of almost every believer you come across.

They have made themselves Lords living to please themselves rather than the inestimable Lover who has brought them this Liberty through the finished works at the Cross and at Redemption.

His this liberty lawless? Is it?

Galatians 5:13 gave an answer saying " For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another".

That place tells us that this Liberty is not to be abused. It is the finished works of grace so do not try to  finish it up by misusing the freedom you found in it.

You are free to use this freedom to do other things save on an occasion to the flesh.

We are free to use this freedom to cast out demons, heal the sick, witness and experience the true power of Fellowship but not to use it on occasion to satisfy the flesh.

As you read pay rapt attention to this please!

Ours is not lawless liberty unlike some "believers" who has taken Christianity as a game of gambling.

The body that ought to be for Christ now becomes the body of Crises. Supports of the works of flesh now become the order of the day.

Godly discipline now becomes a thing of the past.

Sin during the weekdays, come to the church on Sunday and ask for forgiveness now become the routine.

Eye-service now becomes the order of the day. What a misconception!

They thought grace has granted them liberty to dress as they like exposing parts of their bodies that need to be covered thereby causing men to fall. Lawless liberty!

They believe they can decorate and direct their lives the way they want and not according to God's will anymore. Lawless liberty!

If Christianity has given us license to lawlessness, we need not to flee from all appearances of evil again.

If it has given us licence to live as we like, we then need not to fear God again.

If it has given us the freedom to live as we want, we need not have eternity in view again.

Hear this! The work of Grace of our Lord Jesus through the Inestimable Love of God to us does not launched us to live the life of disorderliness.

"We are not under law but grace" someone might declared. Yes but the work of Grace does not entails living a lawless and indiscipline life.

The fact that Jesus Christ has set us free confirms that we are free from sin and Satan has no power to condemn us again and it has nothing to do with liberty to be lawless. Apostle Paul said "To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law" (I Corinthians 9:21). It entails that you retain your relationship with God by being loyal and lawful to Christ who is your Lord and Saviour.

If you are yet living like every other unbeliever out there, maybe in your dressing, speech, movement or actions, it denotes that you are yet to understand what this work of Grace entails.

Taking God's mercy and grace for granted is nothing but an act of rebel.

The works of grace is not the access to living a life which is against God.

Sin is not his nature and living in it in disguise of being Covered by grace! "Oh what a pity!".

Do not be like the Jews in John chapter 8 who thought that they are already free from bondage by just being the sons of Abraham.

True Freedom comes by living in Christ, Walking in him and Living like him.

If Jesus never do such a thing that have even the most little traces to the works of flesh, then this nature must be found in us.

We knoweth not the hour nor the day. Therefore, let us work this Salvation out with fear of God.

As you celebrate this Val, spread the Love of Christ to souls around you. In him is the true and perfect love for the imperfect us.

Happy Valentine ❤️
