THE PATH TO SYNERGY
1 John 3:14
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. Nkjv
There are basically two major sponsors or fuels for synergy. One is a sense of urgency for kingdom matters, and the other is love for the brethren. Ephesians 5:15-16 says see that you walk circumspectly (carefully, purposefully), not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil.
Redeeming the time means taking advantage of the time, making the most use of it. Not wasting any of it. That's a sense of urgency for the kingdom. Now a sense of urgency gives a sense of burden or responsiblity for kingdom matters. When you mix this with love for the brethren, the result is glorious!
You realise that you have no reason whatsoever to compete with anybody for anything, but that there's every need to help the brethren achieve kingdom purpose in any way you can. Love for the brethren moves you from the mindset of competition, to the mindset of complementation. You are a piece in the life of other people. And if you love them you'll not want them to fail.
Refuse to be nonchalant and complacent about kingdom matters, and refuse to care less about the brethren. It's demonic to hate. It's ungodly to be indifferent or to care less about others. The reality of Christ is love, yes love for the brethren. Have a sense of urgency for kingdom matters, and love the brethren. That's the path to synergy.
