YOU ARE SAFETY
Isaiah 32:2
Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land. NASB.
Sometimes, Christians feel highly insecure, like they really need to hide from danger, or be on the run for some reason or the other. Sometimes they tell you "well, you know we just need to be safe". God never planned that any Christian lives a fearful and extremely careful life. He does not want you looking for safety or needing to be safe. Why?
Because the Lord Himself is your safety. In Christ, you are safe from the dangers of the world, and you are actually supreme to them. Now much more than being your safety, Christ did something way greater, ever since you came into Him. He made you yourself, to be safety and a safe anchor to others.
Isaiah 32 :1 says, "a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule with Justice. This scripture was fulfilled in Christ Jesus. He is the King reigning in righteousness, and we are the princes ruling in Justice. Now see the description of these princes in vs 2. Each of us is a hiding place from the wind, a shelter from the storm, we are like streams of water in a dry land, and like the shade of a large rock in a weary land.
In essence, we ourselves, are an anchor and succour for others. Stop looking for safety. You are in safety, and you are safety to others. Receive grace to function in the light of who you are. Say this with me: "I am not looking for safety. Christy is my safety, and I am safety to others! Glory to God! " Remain on the Word and in prayers. You're blessed.-TCF
