THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD'S WILL
2 Corinthians 2:10
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. KJV
You see, many Christians even till today, believe that it's a very difficult thing to know the will of God through the course of life. This is so sad because it makes it appear as though the Holy Spirit in us is just a thing of the scripture, and not a truth-life reality. It's not difficult at all to know the will of God through the course of life. Why?
Because you have the Holy Spirit to guide you into His will. See vs 12 of our theme chapter says "we have received the Spirit of God, that we might know the things freely given to us by God." This talks about access to knowing God's mind and plans for us. The Spirit gives us access to know God and His will per time. Because though the world can't discern these things, the Spirit of God reveals them to us.
So how then are we supposed to hear and learn from the Spirit? Very simple! Fellowship! Fellowship is where we get the reality of the Spirit to us. What's fellowship? Communing together. Sharing our life time with Him, talking to Him and listening to Him. Fellowship means recognising the Holy Spirit everyday, every moment in your life.
It means talking to Him and listening to with your heart; and sharing all on your mind with Him, as you receive His own words to you. You listen to Him with your heart, not your physical ears. And one fuel for proper fellowship is the Word. So with the Word, fellowship will flow. Start fellowshipping with the Spirit today, and see how beautifully and easily you'll discern God's will.
