PRAYING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL

Philippians 2:13

In the message yesterday, we said that we would handle the question many Christians ask "what if I'm not praying according to God's will". Firstly, you need to understand that you should not be afraid of not praying according to the will of God, because Christ came to eliminate fear in you. Fear of any kind is of the devil, including this fear we mentioned above. He has given you faith boldness and courage. So choose not to have this fear. Now, you have been equipped and quickened to always know God's will. Many people think that knowing God's will is difficult and mysterious, but that's wrong for the new covenant men. You have the Holy Spirit in you who leads you into all truth, by the Word of God (John 16:13). If you really want to pray according to God's will and have answers, you would walk with the Holy Ghost and stay on the Word, and it will be like ABC. You would never be confused. The Word says it is God, working in you, to WILL and to DO of His good pleasure. Do you see that assurance. God is working His will in you per time.

You need to believe that and be aware of it. The reason the knowledge of the will of God seems far from some Christians is because they have ignored something very vital. The Word. 1Thessalonians 2:13 says "...you welcomed it, not as word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God, WHICH IS EFFECTIVELY AT WORK IN YOU WHO BELIEVE". Receive the grace to understand the combination of the two scriptures. If you truly want to be aware of the will of God per time, then stay on the Word, through the Holy Ghost and scriptures. The Word will always propel you to pray, not ignorantly, but in accordance with accurate knowledge. This, my friend, is the secret. It's not difficult at all to walk in His will. Just walk in His Word by the Holy Spirit in you. The Word is and should actively be a part of your life daily. That's where His will is within you, in His Word. Not just scriptures, but in the scriptures and Holy Ghost, which will propel you to pray too. You'll not just pray in His will, but you'll live fully in it also. You're blessed as you understand this and let Him work in you. More grace. -TCF
