THE HELMET OF SALVATION 2
EPHESIANS 6:17
At salvation Jesus Christ does two things to you. The first is done by His blood. He forgives your sins because of His blood which He shed (Matthew 26:28). His blood is for the remission of sins. I.e the forgiveness of sins. So on account of His blood, nothing bad you've done can be attributed to you, because you are forgiven. Now the second thing is done by His Word. He recreates you (2Corinthians 5:17). I.e You who came to Christ is crucified, dead with Him, and His own Life (Christ) now rises in you. You stop being the person you were before salvation, and you become Christ now living in the body of that person who came to Christ. The recreation of your being to become Christ is what makes all the difference between who you were before salvation and who you are after salvation.
Ever since you gave your old life to Jesus, you lost it and became Jesus Christ now living in the body of that person you used to be (Galatians 2:20). You are not the same. You are now God living in man's body. This is why God says you are His righteousness in Christ (2corinthians 5:21). Because He looks at you, and sees Himself. And He is His righteousness, and that's who you are. So He points at you and says, "but this is my righteousness, living in this body". And you are in Christ. So you look at yourself and say "I am God's righteousness in Christ!" Do you see it? Your salvation is deep! You became God, exactly same as Christ, living in man's body just like Christ did. This is why it's a new birth. A new-creation!
You are not just "Christ-like". You are Christ living in that body you see physically! That's why you will drop that body one day for your true glorious body! (Romans 8:23). You are not a human being at all. You are God, Christ, in a man's body! Hey!!! That's you!! Do you now see it? How dare you doubt your salvation? When we say these things we are not just talking. We are speaking facts! Just go and dwell on Galatians 2:20, Philippians 2:13, 2Corinthians 5:17 and 21, 1John 3:9. There are more scriptures. The KJV and NKJV are very accurate versions please. You can also make reference using amplified. The rapture is near. Be wise! You're blessed dear Son of God (gender irrespective). We continue tomorrow
