IN CONCLUSION

Ephesians 6:10

Apostle Paul says, "Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might". Finally, be strong in the Lord. Have an assurance, be confident, let your whole trust be in the Lord, and in the power of His might! Do you know what the power of His might is? It's just like saying the magnitude of His Authority. For instance, your President has authority, but how powerful, how much ... is that authority worth? How much force does it carry? How much influence can it exert? Do you really know the magnitude of God's authority? You wouldn't understand how to trust in His might, in His authority, if you're not aware of the power, the magnitude of this authority. Remember the Apostle starts by saying "finally..." The amp. says "in conclusion." This means he had said a lot of important things previously, and this is now the conclusion, the summary, the meaning of all he had been saying.

So what had the apostle been discussing that reveals so much of the magnitude of God's authority to which you should trust and be confident in? Just what had Paul been saying that yielded this powerful conclusion. Reading through previous chapters, you discover that he had been revealing some truths, some knowledge about God, His character, His image, just knowledge about God which should guide our lives! Then he concludes, having known these things, having had this knowledge about God, finally, be strong in the Lord and in the magnitude of His authority. In the power of His might. Beautifully, we'll be discussing a lot this week in relation to these things. Just be expectant. Meditate on the Word of God and wait in prayer. Pray that God gives you grace and reveals Himself in you, that you may know Him. It's expedient! Remain blessed
