Ephesians 6:14

We explained that you have been made a righteous being since your salvation. So you must understand that you are naturally holy, pure and desirous to do good. You may say, "but I don't see myself functioning like this". That's because your mind hasn't been renewed to conform to your new identity. You still think that you are a sinful human, when you are actually righteous. You need to renew your mind (ROM 12:1-2) with the Word of God, so that you will be continually aware of who you are (that is aware of your identity AS Christ), so that you can live as such. Romans 8:1 says there is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Now some people think that Paul means that there is no condemnation to the kind of Christian that walks in the Spirit, but for the other kind walking in the flesh there is condemnation. But that's a very wrong understanding. The Bible doesn't leave room for two kinds of believers in Christ. For one kind to walk in flesh and the other in Spirit, NO!

Apostle says; if a man is in Christ, there is no condemnation for him, and the man in Christ walks according to the Spirit and not the flesh! Because you are in Christ, you are in the Spirit and so you walk in the Spirit (Rom 8:9). He is giving you information about who you are, so that you can live in the reality of your truth! Until you believe and understand that you are a righteous person, living righteously will be a struggle. Your past experiences don't matter, you are a righteous person because God has made you so. Say this to yourself loudly, I AM RIGHTEOUS. I AM A RIGHTEOUS PERSON. MY RIGHTEOUSNESS IS OF GOD! (Repeat it severally). Therefore believe who you are and live as such from now on. Don't doubt your righteousness! It is of God. Hold on to it. Live holy and righteous. We will continue tomorrow. Remain on the word. You're blessed.
