KEEP YOUR BLESSINGS
So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well, for on account of him many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and believing in him.
John 12:10-11 NIV
Lazarus alive was an evidence of the love and power of God through Jesus Christ. The chief priests plotted to destroy the evidence of God's love and power through the ministry of Jesus Christ, by making plans to kill Lazarus. They were obviously inspired by wicked demonic spirits .
Today also, the same devils that inspired them, still inspire people. And many people inspired by these wicked spirits try to destroy the evidence of God's work in the life of people, by trying to make them lose their blessings, whatever blessings those are.
Sometimes, the devil tries to directly deceive those who have received something from God, into losing or giving up what they've got. We must be wise and diligent to keep the blessings of God in our lives, and ensure we don't lose the evidence of God's love and power in our lives.
Don't let the thief steal, kill or destroy you or what the Lord has done for you. He does this through planting doubts, bitterness or any element of the flesh in the person. Like Peter lost the grace to walk on water when he took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the winds. Ensure you keep your focus on Jesus. The one who gave you the blessing, will help you retain it.
Affirmation: I refuse to lose anything that God has given to me. My health is preserved in Christ Jesus. I have divine direction through the Holy Spirit, I walk in prosperity always, and I live above the culture of this world. My focus remains on Jesus through the mercies of God, and I remain in the experience of God's presence in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
