And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;

Romans 5:3 NKJV

Many Christians still don't understand why difficult times come, even though they gave been saved in Christ Jesus. You see, Jesus made it clear to us, that trials will be a part of our journey while in this world. (John 16:33).

He even clearly stated it again in Mark 10:29-30, that all who leave materials of this world, or even family for his sake and that of the gospel will receive them a hundred fold in this world, with persecutions. This is not strange to us. And it happens because the world hates us, because it hated Jesus too! (John 15:18-20).

But these things work together for our good! Even the persecutions are for our advantage. They serve as very important opportunities for us to be trained! Therefore count it all joy, when you of through different trials. Because then, you have the opportunity to grow!

With the word of God in your spirit, and the right responses to challenges and tribulations, only one outcome is possible. The challenges and tribulations will serve to mould your character. They will help train you to be tough. With God, they cannot destroy you. They only came to help frame you into the tough person your destiny needs you to be! Glory to God!

Affirmation: Because God is with me, there is nothing to be afraid of! I stand firm on the Rock who is Christ. With the word of God in my Spirit, I have the right responses to challenges, and therefore I cannot fail! I remain joyful, knowing that as gold passed through the fire, I'll come out refined!
