OUR THOUGHTS PRODUCE RESULTS
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
Ephesians 3:20 NKJV
God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to His power that works in us. This means that God's power in us produces results for us and through us. He is able to produce results way more than anything we ask, and also He is able to produce results way more than anything we think.
This tells us that "our asking" generates results from God, and so does our thinking too! This is why our thoughts are very important to God, and for us; because they produce results. Our thoughts are potent.
And so, in Philippians 4:8, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we are instructed on the kind of things to think upon. This instruction is important because, the things we think upon, are the things that we will have produced in our lives.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:8 NKJV). Our thoughts produce results.
Affirmation: My thoughts are filled with the righteousness, kindness, and goodness of God. I think upon the word and things inspired by the word only. My thoughts produce results, the right results by the power of God in Jesus name. Amen.
