having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

I Peter 1:23 NKJV

Many Christians do not really understand the implications of their new birth. The phrase "born again" isn't some newly created word, that just means "salvation". No. It is actually two words, which are used to describe the salvation experience because of the true implication of what it means to be saved.

You were born before, from your mother on earth. That was a natural birth, according to the natural science of this world. But when you got saved, you actually got born a second time. Yes, you were given birth to again!

As a baby is born into this world, so you, who has been born before into this world, were born again, not into this world, but into the "world" called Christ! It's important that you understand it this way. You became a baby in a new world.

But the effect of this new birth of yours, changes everything about your life even in this physical world. Because the world you were born into, is the one that controls this physical world. You are a new person. With a new life. You now have the life of the person who gave birth to you. That person is Christ, and He wants to help you grow right. Hallelujah.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I understand that through you, I have come into your world, the world of Christ. Now I have a new life, the life of Christ, and I'm a new person. Father, I submit to you, to bring me up and train me to be who you have birthed me to be, in Jesus name. Amen.
