BE SENSITIVE AND FULL OF LOVE
Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.
1 Peter 3:8 NLT
A big part of walking in love is to be sensitive to the feelings of others. The EASY version of our theme verse puts it this way; "Now I want to say this to you before I finish my letter. All of you should agree with each other in what you think. You should try to understand how other people are feeling. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be kind to each other. Do not think that you are more important than other people. (1 Peter 3:8 EASY)
You should try to understand how other people are feeling. Don't act unaffected by what they're going through. Let them know they matter and you care.
One way to do this is by asking questions, and being available to listen. You might think you can't directly influence or solve the problem they might be experiencing, but making yourself available to listen to them, and showing that you care is a solution in itself.
Also choosing to not care, and being insensitive to what others might be experiencing could actually make their situations worse. To walk in love means to be sensitive to others. Pray for them, encourage them. You make a difference.
Prayer: Dear Father, I pray for all who are going through a difficult moment in their lives. Help them to remain strong, and to walk in the victory which you have already provided them, in Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
