AN OPEN LETTER FROM A SPIRITUAL SON TO A SPIRITUAL FATHER

Dear father,
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
With humility and sincerity of purpose, I use this medium to pour out my heart to you.
God called you several years ago and you responded to the clarion call and today, God has shown Himself faithful. God has equally called me today and I seek wisdom and inspiration from you so I can equally fulfil my ministry like you have done.
Some salient issues bug my mind and I wish to express them thus:
- Thank God for the global ministry and impact you have today, but please tell me how you started with two people in that small village.
- Thank God for the abundance and prosperity you enjoy today but please tell me how you suffered hunger and want in the first few years of your ministry.
- Thank God for the multitudes that throng your services and the countless multiple overflows but please tell me how you suffered in the first few years to gather a hand few of people.
- Thank God for the gargantuan and humongous auditoriums you haveve built to accommodate worshipers but please tell me how you were disgraced and embarrassed by your landlord when you could not easily and readily pay church rent when it was due.
- Thank God for the supernatural and miraculous in your ministry but please tell me how you struggled in your early days when you prayed for two sick people and they died in your presence.
Daddy, please be real with me. Let me know how you overcame. Let me know how you pulled through in turbulent times so I can know what to do should I face same.
Father, you have told me your success stories, please also tell me your failure stories, so that should I fail today, I will have hope and be rest assured of a successful tomorrow.
Father, I haveve made up my mind to follow you sincerely and equally wish to be fathered sincerely. Should I misbehave or go astray, do not hesitate to discipline and chastise me but please correct me in love.
Please do not reject me because I have no material gifts, big seeds, tithes and prophet offerings, to give to you today but please draw me close and show me the secrets of God that made you who you are today and I promise to be eternally grateful and loyal.
I trust that as I follow, in the near future, your mantle will be released to me.
I love you and wish you success in all your endeavours.
