YOU'VE NOT COME TOO LATE
THEREFORE, WHILE the promise of entering His rest still holds and is offered [today], let us be afraid [to distrust it], lest any of you should think he has come too late and has come short of [reaching] it.

Could it be possible that you've gone too far in sin and worldliness and now there is no more salvation for you? Could it be that you've come too late to God and now He won't forgive you? Do you have reason to believe these things, and so you don't believe the word of God for salvation for you?
Many thoughts might be on your mind, but God has a message for you. God’s promise of entering His rest still stands (Hebrews 4:1). His rest is in salvation through Jesus Christ. He wants you to know that you have not come too late, because today is the day of your salvation.
That is why the Holy Spirit says, “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts (Hebrews 3:7-8). Maybe you've written yourself off because of your lifestyle. Maybe you've grown to believe that you are too far gone in the wrong.
But the Holy Spirit says today, when you hear His voice, don't harden your hearts. Don't be tempted to disbelieve His voice for any reason. This is His voice to you. Today there is still a place for you in Christ. Come home to God now. Don't wait for tomorrow. The time is today.
Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you for your earnest love for me, which leaves 99 just for 1 lost sheep. I submit to you dear Lord Jesus, as Lord of my life. And I thank you for bringing me into you. I love you Lord now and forever. In Jesus mighty name. Amen
