THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM
that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Galatians 3:14 KJV
Jesus Christ on the cross, became cursed with our curses so that we might receive the blessings that were due to Him, being the seed of Abraham. (Galatians 3:13) That blessing is the promise of the Holy Spirit to come live in us forever.
Jesus completed all requirements for the Father to fulfill His promise to us, and the Father did so by releasing the Holy Spirit to us on the same day of the Pentecost feast. That was the fulfillment of why Jesus came. The substance of the blessing of Abraham is the Holy Spirit in us.
That's why the scripture calls it the secret. The mystery. God's secret plan all this while has been Christ in you! Hallelujah! That's the Holy Spirit in you. That's why Jesus came suffered, died and resurrected again. Because God knew that He created you to be His home.
He delights to live in you. And when He comes, He stays forever. This makes us realise that to live without the Holy Spirit is to live with a curse. To live a life not led by the Holy Spirit is to live a cursed life. That's not good at all. Refuse to live without the Holy Spirit. Just as you have received the Holy Spirit, also walk in the Spirit. Walk in the blessing of God!!
Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for your blessing to me in Christ Jesus, Your precious Holy Spirit. Thank you for delivering me out of a curse and into your blessing. Help me Lord to live by your Spirit, to walk in your blessing to me everyday, in Jesus name. Amen
