FAITH THROUGH LOVE
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. Galatians 5:6 NKJV
The justified in Christ shall live by faith. And yes, we walk by faith and not by sight. But do you know that our journey of Christianity isn't just a journey of faith in isolation? The scripture says that our life is a life of practicing faith through love.
What's the difference? It's possible to be so full of faith, and so empty of love. The result however is that such faith becomes useless, because it will not achieve the righteousness of God. God wants us to walk by faith, but only in love.
Love must lead all that we do. Don't attempt to do miracles just because you can. Let love be the inspiration behind it. Don't attempt to correct people simply because you know what's correct. If you correct, do so only because you love them.
Don't give alms simply because you have excess and pity them, or because you want to show your wealth. No. Do it because you love the ones you're giving to. Whatever you do, let love be the driving force. The truth is that there is so much faith can do. But love will guide to to practice faith the Christ kind of way.
Affirmation: The love of God has been poured out in my heart. I am an agent of love. I choose to love. I walk in love, and I treat everyone with love, the love of Christ is in me, in Jesus name. Amen.
