PRAYER IS COMMUNICATION
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. 2 Corinthians 13:14 (NKJV)
For a long time, many people have assumed prayer to be an opportunity for them to let out all their complaints, and problems to God. And this mentality, though it has a perspective to it, has led to people benefiting very little from prayer.
Prayer isn't just a moment for you to lay your troubles and complaints to God. Prayer is actually way more than that. We pray by the Holy Spirit remember. And the Bible says, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit remain with you.
That word communion means 'the sharing of thoughts and feelings'. In other words he says, let the sharing of thoughts and feelings between you and the Holy Spirit continue. Glory!! Oh, how beautiful!! What a beauty prayer truly is. The sharing of thoughts and feelings between you and the Holy Spirit.
Isn't that wonderful? That the Holy Spirit is ready to listen to you as you share your thoughts and feelings with Him, and He also has some thoughts and feelings to share with you too. Sharing your thoughts and feelings with Him will give you some relief. But what about listening to His own thoughts and feelings? You'll never be the same again! Glory to God!
Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, I'm so ready to listen to your thoughts and feelings. I'm right here. And I know you'll share them with me. I love you dear Lord. Thank you again and again. Glory to your Holy name. In Jesus name. Amen.
