OUR TRUST FOR SALVATION
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
When it comes to the matter of salvation, the Bible is very clear and specific about it. There is only one path, only one source, only one hope for salvation. It is through faith in Christ Jesus.
Believe in the son of God, that is the commandment of God. Over the years, at different times, many people have felt that they could achieve salvation through some means other than only faith in Christ.
The Jews thought that keeping the law would get them saved, how wrong they were. Some Gentiles were taught that they needed to be circumcised, how wrong they were. Some felt they needed to be baptized by water first.
The Spirit's encounter with Peter and Cornelius proved that to be wrong. Some think it is by their good deeds, but that is so wrong. There's only one path for salvation. Faith in Jesus Christ. He who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life! Do you believe?
Affirmation: I recognize that Jesus Christ is the author and source of salvation. Therefore, I believe in Jesus, the son of God, and I believe that God raised Him from the dead. I submit myself to Him. He is my lord. I have His Spirit and life, I am saved. In Jesus name amen.
