VEIL REMOVED
“But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” 2 Corinthians 3:16 NLT
When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, after his wonderful encounter with the Lord, his face shone with so much of God‘s glory. It was so bright, and he put a veil over his face, preventing the children of Israel from freely and fully beholding the glory of God.
This was a prophetic representation that they did not yet have full access or freedom to behold the glorious image of God. Again we read in 2 Corinthians 4:4, that Satan has blinded the minds of those who do not believe in Christ, such that they have no spiritual illumination in their lives.
This means that all who are outside Christ walk on in darkness. But the testimony is different for those who are in Christ Jesus, glory to God! Whenever someone turns to Christ, the veil is taken away. What Jesus brought to us is the freedom to access God fully.
This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John (17:8). So in Christ, you have the freedom to know God in the fullness of His glory. And the more you spend time knowing Him, the more you will be like who you know. Hallelujah!!
Affirmation: I have the freedom to access God fully, and behold Him in the fullness of His glory. I am not veiled , for the veil is taken away in Christ. I behold and become the glory I see! Hallelujah!
