RHEMA - THE LOGOS AND THE SPIRIT

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Genesis 1:3.

The Rhema of God is the word of God in action. It is the word of God communicated to do, that is to perform! From Hebrews 11:3, we learned that no matter what the situation or circumstance in our environment is, if we involve the Rhema of God, we can change it back to God‘s desired will. But how do we involve the Rhema?

The Rhema of God is a product of two vital entities. The logos and the Spirit. The logos is God's indwelling word. In Genesis 1:3, we read that God said, "let there be light, and there was light“. But something had already happened in verse two, which people don’t pay much attention to.

These things are what brought about the Rhema in verse 3. Verse 2 says “the spirit of God was hovering (brooding) over the face of the waters”, before God said let there be light. In other words, God was present, and by His Spirit', He was brooding, cooking something. John 1:1 says "in the beginning,...the Word was with God and the Word was God".

So God was The word, present there, and the Spirit was brooding the word over the waters. If you want to release God's Rhema often, you'd need the word in you richly, and then you'd need to commune (fellowship, pray) with the Spirit often. If you live like this, God's word spoken through you will be so effective.

Affirmation: God‘s word spoken through me is intensely effective. I give ample attention to meditating on the word, and I commune with the Spirit in fellowship and prayer. I am an emitter of Rhema! Glory to God, hallelujah.
