BE CONVINCED WITHIN YOU
One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. Romans 14:5
Today there are many views, many beliefs and understandings, on certain doctrines or teachings, that may differ slightly. Sometimes, there could be a temptation to believe or agree with something, not because you are convinced about it,
but because it’s a popular opinion or you heard it from so and so minister. Listen, let whatever you agree with or whatever you believe, be something that you are fully and truly convinced about in your own heart with all sincerity.
Don’t merely agree with anything because it’s what a certain church believe, or it’s what majority of the people think. Learn to search the scriptures for yourself and discover truth for yourself.
The Holy Spirit is just as willing to teach you, as He is willing to teach the “men of God”. If only you would be willing to learn. Also, if there is a matter you don’t quite understand properly, be humble and bold enough to say “I don’t quite know enough about this to talk or teach on it”. That is true wisdom. Be blessed.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your word of grace by which I am built up, and for your Holy Spirit who teaches me the truth. Lord help me, to remain teachable and humble to learn in Jesus name amen.
