HUMAN RECOGNITION IS JUST AN ACCOLADE, IT DOESN’T CHANGE ANYBODY'S POSITION.
SETTLE DOWN WITH JESUS, HE IS TAKING YOU SOMEWHERE THAT NO HUMAN EFFORT CAN TAKE YOU
THE ADVENTURE OF YOUR LIFE IS AS SWEET AS YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE IT.

Father, thank you again, what a wonderful God you are. Thank you for confirming your word over and again in our midst. Lord speak to us again and let your word move us forward in Jesus name we have prayed.
God does not reward efforts made, He rewards results obtained. It is results that count in exams, not preparatory effort. It is never measured, it does not count. What counts in every exam is the scores that every individual got.
There shall be no futile effort in the life of anyone here in the name of Jesus Christ.
We serve a covenant-keeping God, not a Father Christmas God (John 6:36). Zechariah 7:13. Church Gist. We must hear Him first before He will hear us next. Until we pay attention to what He is saying and apply ourselves to it, we don’t qualify for His intervention. One can be in Church for 50 years without testimony and another can be in Church for one week and massive turnaround in their lives. Church Gist. It is not just being there, it is taking responsibility that makes a difference. We serve a covenant-keeping God, if you and I won’t do what He says, He won’t do what we want because what we want is in doing what He says.
Today is the end of April and we are still driving towards May 29th. Anybody can make anything happen if he chooses to take responsibility at this point. Psalm 84:34. We serve a covenant-keeping God, when you are due for your change of story you will not be denied. We are in a very good place most of us by grace, but after good, there is very good, after very good there is excellent. After excellent, there is perfection. Church Gist. It is a journey. As a Church what we had in Ilorin was a breakthrough, we started from zero. What we had in Kaduna was an outstanding breakthrough, we could sit around that place like those two and a half tribes who settled before Jordan and are still missing today in Israel. Breakthrough is in phases, from glory unto glory until the perfect day. Where you are going is still far. Please walk with God. Do you know where He has for you? A place above all nations where all the kings of the earth shall fear His glory in your life and it is quite some distance. May you not settle before God’s ultimate plan for your life.
God rewards reapers not just participants. John 4:36. He does not pay wages to participants or partakers of a movement. He pays to reapers in the movement. Many reapers of this movement will step their way into God’s payroll, this time. A payroll that quite a number of us are living on at this time. Payroll that quite some of us are living on. Church Gist. A payroll without lack. Luke 22:35. You are effectual on the prayer altar, you are ripening the fruits of the harvest. Helping to break the hold of the devil off them. You are on the field – you are gathering the fruits. It is all a matter of choice to obey the Master.
Turning many to righteousness makes stars in the Kingdom not just attempting to turn them. Proverbs 11:30, 3:35. Daniel 12:3. As you increase in wisdom, you begin to turn many more to righteousness and your star starts rising and rising. You know one star excels another in glory. You have football stars under 17, under 20 and then you have the big football stars in the mainstream. Church Gist. There are all-stars but they are from one level to another. It is those under 17 stars that become under 20 if they still keep playing at their stardom realm. They become major club stars that the world is hunting for at all times. There was a time this Church was said to be the largest one in Kaduna. You know Kaduna was quite a heavy place. It was a star Church among the churches there but it goes beyond that. As you keep following, He increases your star.
- You will never suffer a setback again.
This journey of your life is as sweet as you choose to have it. The day you withdraw from school, forget about the certificate. Settle down with Jesus, He is taking you somewhere that no human effort can take you. Don’t wish to emerge a star, do what makes a star. Don’t wish to be free from shame and reproach. Do what glorifies the redeemed. As you all know God does not honour groups, He honours individuals. All these striking testimonies are a result of individuals' personalized fruitful engagement that God saw in secret. Somebody won 700 souls, I have never seen him. Church Gist. I still don’t know him. You don’t need anyone's recognition. What you need is heaven's commendation which changes your story forever. Human recognition is just an accolade, it doesn’t change anybody's position. You are the one God wants to commend and His commendation will change your position forever. So work at earning His commendation and you will be glad you did. 2 Corinthians 10:12. The day God says “well-done”. It means you are leaving this level and I am taking you to the next level. 1 Samuel 2:30. John 12:26.
- You are the one to be honoured next and you shall be honoured indeed in the name of Jesus.
Now, we are marching out this morning not as good people but as ordinary people bearing the good news that will be a bailout for reviving every dying soul. Luke 18:18. A ruler came to Jesus and said “good Master” Jesus said thank you for your accolade that is not why I am here. I am on a mission of bearing witness to the truth. We are not going to show ourselves as good people from Winners. We are going as people bearing the good news in our hands. Romans 10:15. Church Gist. He beautifies us as we carry the gospel to these individuals. Yes! They will get food but they must get a life. Food is of no consequence to someone who is sick and dying. Food gives temporary relief but life is the greatest asset of all living. Life is empty when life is out. No matter how rich a man is, the day he stops breathing he has nothing. Be mindful of the good news that is the focus of this outreach.
2 Corinthians 10:18.
Everybody should strive to earn the Father's commendation. When that king came back and one of them said I have made ten more. He said have authority over ten cities. The well-done of a man does not have anything to it other than well done. No man has ten cities himself, talk less of to give to you. Luke 19:15-19. When God says well done, He changes your story. Every one of us will earn Heaven's “Well done” in this season. The kind of testimonies that have been heard in this Church in the past seven years. Church Gist. God forbid that it is said to us Woe unto you Chorazin for if the mighty works that were done in you were done in Tyre and Sidon they would have repented long ago in sack clothes and ashes. Nothing interprets scriptures like testimonies. Yours will be another special laboratory proof. The next four weeks will be your best in your walk with God. Everyone who cares to target one soul per Sunday that you will nurture personally till this thing ends, you will not only be visited with a testimony. You will be visited by a directive from God on the next phase of your life. God tells me what to do at each time and as I do what He says, another level. I was in His presence this morning and I caught that word. He said to tell them it is not harassment, it is a deal. I have succeeded by grace to get 1000+ a week since we started. If God’s word can’t move you I don’t know what will move you.
- Every trace of shame that anybody ever knew among us will go off you in this season.
Somebody came in here and there is this plague that hits them and they die untimely in their family. She came here in 2006 and stood on the word and began to engage, that thing stopped and she testified in 2016 after 10 years. Serving God stopped the plague. You are going to rescue your family by serving God. Whatever has been a siege over your family will be broken.
Prayers – I refuse to just be sitting and wishing, I receive grace to work the work that changes people's stories and to earn your commendation.
The day is declared your day. Your going forth is blessed. Your returning is blessed. You will have more than enough testimonies in the name of Jesus. Lift your hands and give God thanks.
