THIS WEIRD IS OKAY
“They are astonished and think it very queer that you do not now run hand in hand with them in the same excesses of dissipation, and they abuse [you].”

We learn that when unbelievers, or folks who are still carnal observe you who has learnt to be spiritual, living by the Spirit and the word, they are surprised. They don't understand the way of the so Spirit, so they can't comprehend how the spiritual man lives.
It's seems surprising to them that you who is spiritual do not think like they think, talk like they talk, or act like they act.
In essence, they consider you weird. But guess what? This weird is okay! Never get lost in the pressure to be accepted by the wrong folks. You don't need to be.
Don't be religious or antisocial, but never compromise your faith walk just to feel welcome. If you do so, you'd realise soonest that it was never worth it. Be wise and live wise. They want to be like you. Be blessed. TCF
