Luk 24:49 NKJV Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem [169] until you are endued with power from on high."
As soon as you are born again or saved, it is important to always bear in mind why are you saved. You are saved for divine service. This divine service cannot be effectively carried out without enduement of power from on high. This Power from on high is power of the Holy Spirit.
Be careful to note this power is not given to make you a Christian. You are a Christian because you have the Spirit of Christ ( Rom 8: 9) as you accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour.But this enduement of Power of the holy spirit is specifically for effective service.
Our calling as Christian is a life career or vocation. The service of God is lifelong This Power is to enable you run your race victoriously.
Once you endued with the power of the holy spirit, you only need renewal through waiting on the Lord.
This power makes your service supernatural. It backs the word of God with signs. By this power, the holy spirit does more effective ministry of convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgement ( John 16: 7-8) through your ministry.
By this power, the reality of the power the kingdom of God is demostrated through casting out devils and healings.
Prepare yourself for service. Prepare yourself to be endure with the power from on high. It is received now through faith.
Without faith it is impossible to please God. Receive ye the infilling of the spirit of God for the service this day, and move in this faith.✌️
