PHYSICAL ATTEMPTS DON'T WORK
And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. Hebrews 10:11
Quite a number of Christians still live as though they are in the old testament. They haven't come to accept the power and scope of the beautiful sacrifice of Jesus Christ for us. So they go on attempting to help the sacrifice of Jesus to forgive them of sins.
Some stay away from church or even cut fellowship with the brethren and the Lord hoping that this helps. Some refuse to eat or go about their duties hoping that God would forgive them when He sees they aren't eating or functioning properly. It's all religion and gibberish.
The heart is right, but they have been deceived through ignorance. God is not moved by all the physical attempts at forgiveness.There's only one thing that moves God. Or only one thing that God accepts. That's Christ Jesus. And He already paid in full to remedy you from sin, it's guilt and it's penalty.
What must you then do? Come boldly to the throne! Because you trust that Jesus is enough. He is enough reason for God to hear you. (Heb 4:19). Believe in the work of Christ, and know you're forgiven. You're so blessed. Now move on in Christ. TCF
