SET YOUR MIND RIGHT
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. Romans 8:5
Apostle Paul admonishes us in his epistle to the Galatians (chapter 5:25), if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.So we see clearly that living in the Spirit and walking in the Spirit are two very different things. While all Christians live in the Spirit, not all Christians walk in the Spirit.
Walking in the Spirit is simply expressing the life of the Spirit, as revealed by the Holy Spirit in the Word.The reason not all Christians walk on the Spirit though they live in the Spirit is because they don't ensure that their mind is filled with the Spirit by the Word.
Those who walk according to the flesh, set minds on things of the flesh, and those who walk according to the Spirit set their minds on things of the Spirit.So you see, how you walk is actually a product of your mind and where it is set. While only Christians can set their minds on things of the Spirit, it's also very possible for their minds to be set on things of the flesh.
And unfortunately, this is the case of many. Because setting your mind on things of the Spirit is something you'll have to do intentionally.It won't just happen because you're born again. You must make up your mind to set your mind on things of the Spirit; and tomorrow, we'll see just how.
